The golf ball is deliberately and intentionally supposed to be manipulated. All golfers that are successful must do this consistently and in certain situations in which they can take an advantage or lead. There is a strong correlation between golfers that have mastered different ways of changing the ball and lower golf scores. These golfers will be able to use fewer strokes in order to get the ball in the hole. For those who can, it is a very satisfying and refreshing feeling. This is completely allowed in golf. However, one must stay with the legal rules. One can do the same thing in baseball. In that sport, pitchers can manipulate the ball by changing speeds such as going from a ninety mile an hour fastball to a mid seventies changeup. Professional pitchers that have mastered this include Tommy Hanson and Tim Hudson of the Atlanta Braves. Like baseball, the ball can be manipulated but not altered. One cannot spit on the ball or mold it in a way that helps them and cheats other golfers. Doing this properly can help people with their shots. Adjusting one’s shot in golf consists of learning how to hit a draw shot and a fade shot, which allows the golfer to work the ball left and right. The key in all of this is to adjust one’s stance and grip. This can be done in many ways, depending on the desired results. One needs to set up to hit a draw shot by closing their stance slowly and slightly. This means that your right foot should be slighly behind your left foot as you address the ball, and your feet must be aligned slighly to the target. Then one must turn their left hand about a half inch to the right on the grip to hit a draw shot. Then one should aim the club face directly at the target and hit the shot, which should curve to the left as it approcahes the target, if done correctly. Also, one must be sure to buy the correct golf ball for themselves. . A good golf ball should be chosen depending on what type of distacne one wishes to achieve, whether they want to reduce side spin that results in a slice or a sweeping hook. There are balls designated for those that want a soft feel around the green and for those that wish to choose methods other than this. When one has come to a conclusion on what type of ball they are looking for they can move on to the next step. This conclusion can be vague, all that is needed is a vague description of what one wants. Then they will be able to determine how much they are willing to spend on suhc a material . From this point on, they will be able to eliminate balls that they deem to expensive, not worth the money, or out of their budget. People that are just too indecisive should pay a visit to the driving range and check out what balls work with them in a real life situation. Certain balls will grow on people as they get acclimated to playing with them. Once one has the correct balls, they can manipulate it to their preferences.
