However, as skill and time dedicated improve, the golfer acquires the ability to get to that certain par in fewer and fewer holes. Knowing how to decipher between the two is one of the most important things that golfers have to do. Even the most intermediate and beginner golfers should know the very common terms known as par four hole and par three hole. Man golfers use these holes on a regular basis and all people correlated with golf should know the meaning of the term. There also exists a par six and par seven holes. However, these are very rare and hardly ever appear in a standard game of golf. Therefore, it is not required that the early staged golfers know this. However, it could be a nice trivia bit due to the low number of people that know what it is. Knowing some of these fundamentals is a good sign to show your instructor or caddy that you are serious about embarking on a golf journey. You would be surprised to know the people in the golf industry who did not know this.
